The updated City might get Level 1 ADAS as part of its safety package.
Honda is all set to introduce the updated version of the 5th-gen City this year, and as per the latest reports, it could be launched by March 2023.
The 2023 Honda City is expected to get minor cosmetic changes to freshen up its overall appearance. The car could get tweaked front and rear bumpers and new alloy wheels.
Inside, the City will carry forward the same dashboard layout. However, reports suggest that Honda might introduce a couple of new features like ventilated seats and a wireless phone charger. The updated City might also get Level 1 ADAS as part of its safety package.
The choice of powertrains, however, will remain the same. Honda will continue to offer the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that powers the current model. It develops 119 BHP and 145 Nm.
Honda’s popular sedan will also get a strong-hybrid option. The City Hybrid uses a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors, offering a combined output of 124 BHP and 253 Nm.
