Hyundai has released the first official design sketches of the next generation i20 hatchback.

It has a new front grille and sharper wraparound headlamps that have V-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a slimmer air dam and triangular fog lamp pods. At the rear, the car has wraparound tail lamp clusters with Z-shaped brake lights. It has a dual-tone rear bumper with a small diffuser. The car also has chrome trim along the window line and a shark fin antenna.
The new i20 is expected to be offered with a range of petrol and diesel engines including a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The next generation Hyundai i20 is rumoured to be launched in India around June 2020.
