Ford's 2021 Tremor Is an F-150 Designed for Off-Roading

Ford has now unveiled its F-150 Tremor for the pickup truck fans with an appetite for off-roading.

Building on the standard model, the Tremor receives a series of upgrades to tackle harsher environments, including unique front hub knuckles and upper control arms, front monotube and rear twin-tube shocks, 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires, a wider stance, and a front skid plate inspired by its Raptor cousin. It also sits 1.5-inches higher off the ground than the regular F-150 4×4.

As for its power, the Tremor comes equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, churning out 400 horsepower and delivering a maximum towing capacity of 10,900 pounds. Aside from a unique one-pedal trail driving mode that applies the brakes simply when you lift off the throttle, the powertrain programming and driving modes for the FX4 package also come standard.

Starting at $28,940 USD, the Ford F-150 Tremor will arrive sometime next summer. Head over to the automaker’s website to learn more.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Tesla is selling $5 billion USD in shares following record-high prices.
