Drivers could bag themselves a decent discount off fuel when topping up this week at a Sainsbury’s forecourt. The promotion is offering motorists 10p per litre off the cost of petrol and diesel. This offer has run before and requires shoppers to spend over £60 in store to be handed a discount voucher. Motorists wanting to cash in on the deal have until Tuesday 23rd July to do so.
The deal also applies to sales of groceries online as long as the single transaction is over £60.
Drivers who qualify for the deal will be handed a coupon which will be redeemable for 14 days after the transaction.
It is only redeemable at a filling station kiosk and not a pay at pump station.
You must fill the car up with unleaded petrol, super unleaded petrol, diesel or LPG up to a maximum of 100-litres.
David Pegg, at Sainsbury’s, said: “We always aim to offer our customers great value products and services, whether they’re filling up their trolley in store or their cars at the pumps.
“That’s why we’re offering customers 10p per litre off fuel when they spend £60 or more on groceries at a Sainsbury’s supermarket or online.
“With the British summer finally hotting up, we’ve got customers’ staycations covered – whether they’re heading to Scarborough or Salcombe, we’ll help them get there for less.”
