We wonder sometimes if a GM engineer was at the SEMA Show if he or she would pass out at what some people decided to do with their new vehicles. The C8 Corvette is the latest hot rocket in the market; therefore, it was the No. 1 car to be modified at the 2021 SEMA Show.
If you don’t know about the C8, it is the mid-engine Corvette that had been promised to the public since before the Jetson’s were on TV. A mid-engine car was nothing new; the Europeans had long ago discovered the value of placing mass in the center of inertia. The Americans? Nah, we like front engines, thank you. Until now.
If you are in the market and feel the need to modify what is arguably the perfect Corvette, feast your eyes (or gouge them out) on this collection of modded C8 Corvettes from the 2021 SEMA Show.
Watch: Check out this hot lap of the C8 Corvette at the 2020 MotorTrend Best Driver’s Car Competition from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
