We could all use a little more fun right now, right? Hyundai is working on it. The automaker is in the midst of amping up its lineup of cars and SUVs with sport-oriented N Line versions for many of its vehicles, and the Sonata mid-size sedan is next.

Hyundai released pics of the racy looking sedan, which already got aggressive new styling with its recent redesign. The N Line adds extra drama thanks to a more expressive version of the signature cascading grille, three air intakes, more sculpted side skirts and 19-inch alloy wheels. In back, the N Line wears a sleeker black lower bumper, with dual twin tailpipes and an N Line rear diffuser.
Inside, its sporty intentions are reinforced by dark chrome trim, sport seats and N Line red stitching on the steering wheel and seats.
Under the hood is a new turbocharged 2.5-liter engine, but Hyundai has yet to release other specs. The regular Sonata uses either a 191-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder or 180-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder.
Stay tuned for more.
