25 Favorite Hot Rods From Recent NSRA Street Rod Nationals

The NSRA Street Rod Nationals is on! One year after an amazing 50th anniversary show in 2019, the National Street Rod Association’s cornerstone event is returning to the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville. Tex Smith and Tom Medley organized the first Street Rod Nationals in Peoria, Illinois, back in 1970, They knew it would be a success, but could they have predicted that this annual gathering of America’s primo street rods would still be going on 51 years later—or that 13,000 participants and 10 times as many spectators would be attending? Of course they could! Street Rodder Magazine was involved in the Street Rod Nationals from that first event until the 50th, selecting rods of every variety for its Street Rodder Top 100 awards program in the last several years.

Street Rodder isn’t around as a print magazine for the 51st annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals in 2021, so it won’t be in Louisville to choose it’s favorite rods. But take a look at some of our favorite Top 100 winners from the last several years.
