With a new interior and refreshed front end, the 2022 Jeep Compass can confront its subcompact SUV competition (more) confidently. The modernized petite off-roader sports a plethora of standard and optional safety features and convenient technology while retaining a ton of Jeep grit. Now that we know all of the deets, one question remains.
How much does the 2022 Jeep Compass cost?
Here’s a breakdown of the MSRP pricing for the five different 2022 Jeep Compass trim configurations: Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited. Pricing ranges from $26,490 on the low end and $32,890 for all the bells and whistles. The base MSRP jumps $500 over the 2021 model year. The High Altitude Package adds about $1,495-$2,595, depending on the trim.
2022 Jeep Compass Sport
- Sport 4×2: $26,490
- Sport 4×4: $27,990
The Sport trim features Uconnect 5 with a 8.4-inch center stack touchscreen, which Jeep touts as the largest standard entry-level touchscreen amongst the competition. That means you get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the base Compass. The cluster display is 3.5 inches. The standard safety features are not lacking and include things like Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, Full-speed Forward Collision Warning, and Active Lane Management with LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. That’s enough of a mouthful to impress the friends. The Sport trim gets 16-inch alloys, cloth seats, and a six-speaker audio system.
2022 Jeep Compass Latitude
- Latitude 4×2: $28,020
- Latitude 4×4: $29,520
The Latitude trim has cloth/vinyl seats and some more interior details, including overhead ambient interior lighting. It receives heated front seats, a new wireless charging pad, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system. Tech addition options include Adaptive Cruise Control, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, and a 360 degree camera. The cluster display is 7 inches. There’s also a foot-activated power liftgate, smarter windshield wipers and headlights, and 17-inch wheels.
2022 Jeep Compass Latitude Lux
- Latitude LUX 4×4: $31,090
The Latitude LUX is a brand new trim and bridges the gap between entry and luxury. It features a leather interior and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and the center stack screen is upgraded to 10.1 inches. The wheels are 18-inch aluminum painted Satin Carbon editions.
2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk
- Trailhawk 4×4: $32,890
The Trail Rated Trailhawk is a beast of its own and is tailored to off-roading: Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4, Selec-Terrain Rock mode, Hill-descent Control, 1-inch lift, skid plates, tow hooks, and a matte black and red anti-glare hood decal—to list a few of its attributes. Trailhawk gets heated second-row seats, the 10.25-inch gauge cluster, Highway Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
2022 Jeep Compass Limited
- Limited 4×4: $32,890
The Limited gets all the premium materials and advanced standard/optional safety and technology features that the Compass offers. It has soft-touch door trim panels and nice contrast stitching and various accents within. Illuminated front map pockets and door handles add to the pizazz of the all-out Compass, as do special 18-inch wheels. The Compass Limited with the High Altitude Package starts at $35,485.
