2021 Ford Ranger Video: Tremor Package Shakes Up Off-Road Offerings

Joining the Ford Ranger’s off-road offerings for the 2021 model year is the new top-tier Tremor Off-Road Package, giving buyers a more-capable off-roader straight from the dealer.

As you can see on the outside, a 1-inch-wider stance and bigger tires give the Ranger Tremor a decidedly more aggressive appearance, as does the restyled grille painted Magnetic gray with black horizontal bars and red “nostril” accents. Tremor graphics appear on both sides of the cargo area, and buyers can also add an optional graphics package to further enhance the look.

Inside, the Tremor gets unique seats with suede inserts and stitched “Tremor” badging. Additional interior accent pieces are blacked out, and Ford added a set of six auxiliary switches for controlling various accessories.

The Ranger Tremor slots above the FX2 off-road package for two-wheel-drive fun and FX4 package for four-wheel-drive fun, which now means there are three levels of off-road equipment packages in addition to a catalog of more than 200 factory accessories. Even though Ford hasn’t given us the Ranger Raptor (obligatory mention), the Blue Oval seems all in on letting Ranger owners head off-road with confidence.
